Air New Zealand is one of the very few airlines that offer inflight wifi service. Air New Zealand started a free inflight wifi service as a trial from 1 December 2018 to 28 February 2019. Later it was extended indefinitely on international flights.

Inmarsat along with Panasonic Avionics provided this expensive technology. This can cost over half a million dollars for one aircraft. That’s why all the aircraft of Air New Zealand don’t have this advanced technology. But if your flight has it, you can use it free of cost.
