The ATL Airport Wi-Fi

On June 4, 2014, the City of Atlanta upgraded the ATL Airport Wi-Fi from a paid service to a free-of-charge service in every part of the airport. According to airport officials, the upgrade was necessary to eliminate competitive disadvantages and comply with travellers’ needs.

Previously, passengers paid a $5 fee to access the ATL Airport Wi-Fi. Once after the upgrade, passengers now get unlimited free internet Wi-Fi access across the entire airport, including the inconvenient transportation mall. 

The Wi-Fi at ATL Airport supports online activities like browsing, video streaming, downloading, emailing, and private VPNs.
