Air India Inflight WiFi:
According to previous Indian DGCA law, no aircraft including air India was allowed to provide inflight wifi service. Any aircraft equipped with wifi service was instructed to switch off its wifi service while entering or crossing into Indian Air Space. But in 2020, India issued a new DCGA draft that allows inflight wifi. No Indian aviation company including Air India has announced to include any inflight wifi service yet.
So if you are flying with Air India, you will not be able to enjoy any inflight wifi service. But the good news is, that Air India is planning to equip their Boeing 777 aircraft with WiFi facilities that fly to international destinations.
How to connect to the inflight wifi of Air India:
As none of the aircraft of Air India has any inflight wifi service, you can not connect to the internet while flying with Air India.
Air India Inflight entertainment:
Most of the aircraft of Air India have an entertainment screen installed in front of the passenger seat. You can enjoy movies (local and international), tv shows, music, and news on the TV console onboard.
