If you have to travel anywhere in the world via India, the flagship carrier Air India could be a great choice. It is absolutely safe and follows a tight schedule so that you will be able to arrive at your holiday destination on time.
Air India has a fixed baggage policy that you must follow if you want your bags to be transported by the airline. Economy ticket holders are allowed to take single baggage with dimensions of 115 cm. The maximum weight of the bag cannot exceed 8 kg. For bags exceeding this allocation limit, you will be charged an extra payment.

Additionally, if you have a child with you, the same arrangements will be maintained for the child, while infants without their own seats are only applicable to receive 10 kg weight worth of baggage allowance along with one stroller, buggy or child car seat.
Air India Excess Baggage Fee
For domestic flights, any excess baggage is worth SAR 27 or INR 600 in addition to the GST per kg. The excess charge for international flights depends on the route that you will be taking is reported in the table below. All currencies are in USD:

Air India Special Baggage
